Community Relations Manager - Entry Level

Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement: Assist in planning and executing community engagement strategies and events that align with our mission, fostering collaboration and outreach.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support for our initiatives.
Event Promotion: Strategically promote and market fundraising events through various channels (social media, email, local outreach) to maximize participation and visibility.
Representation: Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and activities, effectively communicating our goals, mission, and initiatives.
Collaboration: Work closely with the event planning team to ensure the successful execution of all community events, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
Reporting: Track and report on community engagement activities and outcomes to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to community partners, event participants, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
Passion for Outreach: A genuine passion for community outreach and making a positive impact.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to achieve common goals.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple projects.
Experience: Previous experience in event planning or community relations is a plus.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
